A few years ago, Microsoft stopped supporting Internet Explorer; But users can still use this old browser.

According to ZDNet media reports, access to certain websites via Internet Explorer will soon be stopped and more than a thousand websites, including Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram, will be redirected to the Edge browser.

The new change is likely to happen in the next month, and after you click on websites in Explorer, they will open in Edge browser.

This feature has been tested for some time since Edge 84, and new changes will likely be made starting in November this year, around the same time the Edge 87 was released.

Not to mention, 1,156 sites are undergoing a recent change from Microsoft, including the popular ESPN, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.

After opening the specified web pages in Internet Explorer, users will be prompted with a redirect message to the Edge browser asking them to transfer Internet Explorer information to it for easy access.

Four years ago, Microsoft stopped supporting Internet Explorer versions 8, 9, and 10; However, a number of users have used it to visit the websites of their choice.

With recent changes to open some websites in Edge browser, Microsoft is directing users to use newer browsers.

A few months ago, Microsoft released the Chrome-based Edge browser. The new browser received a lot of positive reviews, and being windowscentral's media editor, it also gave it 4.5 out of 5 points.
